On Saturday's (July 6) edition of The Voice of the Philippines, netizens went gaga over Paolo Onesa when his Blind Auditions aired. Paolo performed Yakap Sa Dilim and the guy from Zamboanga gained a lot of fans thereafter.
The 19-year-old heartthrob did not only charm viewers with his good looks but also with his voice which has a lot of soul. Lea Salonga did notice that Paolo seemed to have that experience with love at his young age, singing the song. He was defaulted to Team Bamboo (Kamp Kawayan), the only coach who turned for him.

Aside from Paolo, artists who advanced to the next rounds on Saturday's episode were former The X Factor PH Top 20 member Angelica Prado (Team Bamboo), kundiman singer Juvie Pelos joining Team Lea (click their names to watch their Blind Auditions performance) and 21-year-old student Diday Garcellano (Team Lea).
