Singapore Sex Scandal official jailed

The former head of Singapore's Civil Defence Forces, Peter Lim, has been jailed for six months for accepting oral sex from a businesswoman in return for commercial favours. The judge rejected defence pleas for Lim to be given a stiff fine and said an uncompromising stance must be taken against all corruption offenders, regardless of their standing. Lim has been freed on bail pending an appeal.
