Everything was intended for fun, nothing serious, and some netizens suspect that Shaquille O’Neal, a 15-time NBA All-Star, lost in the shootout on purpose to leave news footprints on television and social media.

It’s also worthy to mention that besides their age gap and height difference, there was also a discrepancy in the distance of each shooter to the ring.

NESN notes that Titus, popular for his “trick shot” viral video, fired from 6 feet while the 3-time NBA Finals most valuable player made the shots from 18 feet, which is slightly farther than the standard distance of a free-throw line.
