Star Cinema's The Mistress was big winner of the night, clinching half of the trophies given away. It won Best Screenplay, Best Editing, Best Actor for John Lloyd Cruz, Best Supporting Actor for Ronaldo Valdez and Best Supporting Actress for Hilda Koronel.
Angel Locsin won Best Actress, her third Best Actress trophy for her performance in One More Try. Meanwhile, the last five awards were brought home by El Presidente, including the most coveted Best Picture award.
